For more than 20 years Keith has dedicated his life to health and fitness. After getting Certified at the National Academy of Sports Medicine, he got his start as a trainer at World’s Gym. Around the same time, Keith started learning every aspect of mixed martial arts and used his fitness knowledge to coach his fellow training partners for the physical demands of this new and exciting sport. In 2004, he turned Professional and started his fighting career. Along with his brother Peter Jeffrey, Keith opened Tri-Force MMA/BJJ training center, which helped to put Northeast MMA on the map.
Keith continued his own training, got Training for Warrior’s certified and used the system with many high-level fighters like professional boxers Edwin “La Bomba” Rodriguez and Peter “The Pride of Providence” Manfredo Jr. Also, MMA fighters Andre “The Asian Sensation” Soukamthath, Todd “The Hulk” Chattelle, and Dan “Hamburglar” Cormier to name a few.
After competing for close to a decade and achieving a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under the legendary Carlos Machado, Keith retired from mixed martial arts with an 8-3-1 record to further develop the Training for Warriors program here in Rhode Island for students of all fitness levels.
TFW Rhode Island has since won the Kaizen award in 2017; and the Excelsior Award in 2018 for the hundreds of amazing student transformations achieved at the Pawtucket facility. It is Keith’s mission to help every one of his students bring out the “warrior within” by strengthening the mind, body, and spirit through proper training and coaching.
